Printmaking Installation

In this nightlong showcase contributing artists will be exhibiting a variety of printmaking methods while continuously producing artwork.

When visitors enter the space, they will first encounter the artists’ working at an array of print stations. Making a selection of the newly created artwork visitors are encouraged to develop spontaneous input, building or intervening on the images provided and reworking them in to new artistic configurations. 

Drawing from the spirit of collaboration so inherent in printmaking, the project will use handmade reproduction to showcase the possibilities of print as a more improvisational art form through both public and collective collaging.

The resulting installation will be on display during the month of October at the Graven Feather Studio for visitors to return and view their lasting impression and the finished piece.

This project is a collaborative effort between the printmakers of the inPrint Collective, Graven Feather Studio and Keeley Haftner.
