Everyday Marvels is an episodic performance installation conceived, created and directed by Shannon Litzenberger. The 16 miniature vignettes have been created by 8 local choreographers based on Lorna Crozier’s recently published volume of poetry.
Everyday Marvels is a new, episodic performance installation conceived, created and directed by Shannon Litzenberger. The program will feature 16 miniature vignettes (or ‘marvels’) created by 8 local choreographers based on Lorna Crozier’s recently published volume of poetry The Book of Marvels – A Compendium of Everyday Things.The quotidian objects interpreted in Corzier’s poems, such as ‘bowl’, ‘vacuum’, ‘flashlight’, and ‘wheelbarrow’, will become the subjects of exploration through a cyclical, 12-hour, performance piece.
The cast of Everyday Marvels will feature more than 50 professional and community-based artists.
